Hiding Folder
Here’s a quick and easy way to hide your folder. You can start by renaming the folder you want to hide by selecting it and clicking on ‘File | Rename’. Hold down ‘ALT’ and type “0160″ without the quotes and click anywhere outside. You will now only see a blank space in place of original folder name.
Next, right-click on the folder and choose Properties and Customize the folder. Now, press the “change icon” in the tab. Scroll to the right and you will now see an empty space after all the icon options. Click that space and hit OK. You will now see that your folder has disappeared. To make it even more effective, right click that space and see it attribute to ‘Hidden’. You can do this for upto 254 folder and all their icons will be camouflaged behind a blank space which you can see by clicking “Properties”.
