Their got easy and free way to remove any logo from your PDA, cell phone or mp3 player like the branding logo from your manufacturer or service provider. Do you know how? Put up your hand if you know.

I tell you the secret how to do it. Key key is use a sugar cube to gently rub on the logo area. The sugar crystals are actually strong enough to remove the logo but it strong enough to scratch the metal case. This is how easy it is to remove some unwanted logos from cell phones and other plastic or metal products.

The logo has to be type glued onto the surface rather etched as you will scratch it off. There are many other ways which you can go about doing the same with fingernails, pins, but there is one trick, that is tested by many. The key is to scratch of the logo without leaving marks on the surface of the phone. Sugar works perfectly and the results are good. Apparently the sugar crystals are strong enough to remove the logo but too soft to scratch the casing thus leaving it unscratched.

You can try this at your own risk. It may cause your lose your device warranty. Remember.

Thunderbird 2.0

Mozilla’s new baby, Thunderbird v2.0 takes mozilla’s email client one step further. With clutter-free and clean interface, Thunderbird 2 is a worthy successor. In the looks department, it’s better than ever with a whole new bunch of resigned icons. As in earlier version, thunderbird 2.0 allows users to customize the look and feel of the interface using themes.

Customizability sets Thunderbirds apart from the competition. There’s a wide range of themes and extensions available on Mozilla’s website. You can get extensions for things as simple as minimizing it to your taskbar or for something as complicated as organizing your mail in separate folders. But even without extensions, Thunderbird 2 is stable and customizable by itself without resorting to extensions.

Installation is smooth as butter. Once installed, it imported all setting with minimal prompting. This makes it very novice friendly. If you’ve been using thunderbird 1.5, all extensions and themes used will be checked for compatible version and then upgraded.

To v2.0 equivalents. Don’t worry; if you’ve been using Outlook, Thunderbird has got the process of importing the setting down to a science. Everything form contact, folder and email account setting are imported and fitted in place without any glitch.

If you want to flag email, the flag is now a golden star. Thunderbird intelligent spam filter has been carried onto the new version. It does a fantastic job of netting all the spam mail. As in the earlier version, it includes a nifty search function that allows RSS reader is and enhancement from v1.5. However unlike, unlike the earlier version, it is slightly tougher to subscriber to an RSS feed using this version. Users have to copy paste the subscriptions links to make it wok.

In term of security, Thunderbirds has come less paranoid while still keeping its come less paranoid while still keeping its vaunted status for security. It now allows mail to sites it believes is dangerous or false. When you click on a link, it checks your contact: thus making sure that the mail is from trusted source.

Unlike the previous versions, Thunderbird 2.0 allows user to define their own tags. In v1.5 user had only a limited list of tags to mark their mail according to the category it belongs to. That all history with v2.0. Yopu can now define as many tags as you want and still be able to keep track of your mail.

With all these terrific feature, its quite easy to overlook some of the ( very minor) cons in v2.0. Thunderbirds v2.0 still doesn’t support multiple signatures, but this is something that can be easily rectified with an extension. The bottom line is, the second version of Thunderbird definitely recommended for its user friendliness and featured and to top it all, The best thing it also FREE!
